Peavey Wolfgang Special Deluxe ST Gloss Black Custom Shop

Acquired: August 2005
Story: This Wolfgang Special was nothing more than a good deal I had to take. The guitar came from the Peavey Wolfgang Custom Shop Vault, as the only way Peavey could produce rosewood fingerboard Wolfgangs (at EVH's insistence) was through the Custom Shop. It is otherwise a stock stop tail Wolfgang Special in gloss black. Simplicity would best describe this Wolfgang; there is only one knob (volume), the Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tail makes string changes easy, there's nothing complicated about the color, and to play it unplugged is to know amazing tone. On "simple" days I play this Wolfgang, and it has also been a frequent presence in the recording studio. Similar to my other stop tail Wolfgangs, this one sings with sustain and overtones.
